  • 2 russet potatoes (skins on)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. Scrub the potatoes thoroughly while keeping the skins on. Cut each potato in half lengthwise and then into wedges.
  2. Soak the potato wedges in cold water for 15-20 minutes to remove excess starch.
  3. Dry the wedges completely with a clean towel. In a mixing bowl, toss the dried wedges with olive oil and seasonings until evenly coated.
  4. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
  5. Arrange wedges in a single layer in the air fryer basket and cook at 400°F for 18-22 minutes, shaking halfway through.
  6. If desired, sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese over hot wedges before serving.
