Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb sirloin steak (or ribeye, NY strip), cut into 1-inch cubes

  • 1½ tbsp olive oil

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tsp paprika

  • ½ tsp salt

  • ½ tsp black pepper

  • ½ tsp onion powder

  • Optional: 1 tbsp melted butter (for drizzling after cooking)

  • Optional: Chopped fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Steak

  1. Pat steak cubes dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture.

  2. In a large bowl, toss the steak pieces with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, black pepper, and onion powder until evenly coated.

Step 2: Preheat the Air Fryer

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3-5 minutes.

Step 3: Air Fry the Steak Bites

  1. Arrange the steak bites in a single layer in the air fryer basket.

  2. Air fry for 5-7 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until steak is browned on the outside and cooked to your desired doneness.

  3. For medium-rare, aim for about 5 minutes; for medium-well, closer to 7 minutes.

Step 4: Finish and Serve

  1. Optional: Toss the hot steak bites with melted butter for extra richness.

  2. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired.

  3. Serve immediately while hot and juicy!

Notes

Use a Good Cut – Sirloin, ribeye, or NY strip work best for tenderness.
Don’t Overcrowd – Cook in batches if needed to ensure even air circulation.
Pat Dry – Helps the steak get a better sear and caramelization.
Monitor Cook Time – Every air fryer is a little different; check for doneness early.
Rest Before Eating – Let steak bites sit for a minute or two to keep them juicy.
