  • 4 (4-ounce) salmon fillets
  • ½ cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 2 cloves minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon ginger paste
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan, whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, rice vinegar, garlic, sesame oil, and ginger paste. Heat until simmering.
  2. In a small bowl, mix water with cornstarch until smooth. Add this to the saucepan and whisk until thickened. Reserve half for serving.
  3. Lightly spray your air fryer basket with olive oil. Pat salmon dry and place skin-side down in the basket.
  4. Brush salmon with teriyaki sauce and cook at 390°F for 7-10 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 145°F.
  5. Brush reserved sauce over cooked salmon and garnish with green onion and sesame seeds if desired.
