- ¼ cup lightly toasted pecans or walnuts (chopped)

Instructions
- Prepare your ice cream maker by freezing the bowl for at least 16 hours.
- Mix sugar and cornstarch in a small bowl and set aside.
- In a large saucepan, heat the milk, heavy cream, and honey until just simmering. Gradually whisk in the sugar-cornstarch mixture until combined, cooking over low heat for about 3 minutes until slightly thickened. Remove from heat.
- Cool the cream mixture at room temperature before refrigerating for at least 6 hours or overnight.
