Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Salmon Meatballs
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the finely chopped salmon, breadcrumbs, egg, parsley, Dijon mustard, garlic, salt, black pepper, paprika, lemon juice, and olive oil.
- Mix well until all ingredients are fully incorporated.
- Using your hands or a scoop, shape the mixture into small meatballs (about 1 inch in diameter) and place them on the baking sheet.
Step 2: Bake the Meatballs
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the meatballs are firm and slightly golden on top.
- Remove from the oven and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
Step 3: Make the Creamy Avocado Sauce
- In a food processor, blend the avocado, Greek yogurt, lemon juice, garlic, salt, olive oil, and water until smooth.
- Adjust the consistency by adding more water if needed.
- Stir in chopped cilantro or parsley for extra flavor.
Step 4: Serve and Enjoy
- Drizzle the creamy avocado sauce over the salmon meatballs or serve it on the side as a dip.
- Garnish with extra parsley and a squeeze of lemon for added freshness.
Notes
- Use Fresh Salmon – It gives the best texture and flavor.
- Don’t Overmix – Gently combine the ingredients to keep the meatballs tender.
