  • 500 grams organic grass-fed chicken mince
  • 1 carrot (diced)
  • 1 celery stick (diced)
  • ½ brown onion (diced)
  • 2 bottles Italian passata
  • 250 ml milk
  • Provolone cheese
  • Buffalo mozzarella
  • Fresh egg lasagna pasta sheets
  • Extra virgin olive oil

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Meat Sauce: In a large skillet, heat olive oil and sauté onions, carrot, and celery until softened. Add chicken mince and cook until browned. Stir in passata and simmer for 30 minutes.
  2. Make Béchamel Sauce: Melt butter in a saucepan, whisk in flour, then gradually add milk while whisking until thickened. Season with salt and nutmeg.
  3. Assemble the Lasagna: Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F). Layer meat sauce, lasagna sheets, béchamel sauce, and cheese in a baking dish. Repeat layers and finish with cheese on top.
  4. Bake: Cover with foil and bake for 120 minutes. Remove foil for the last 30 minutes to achieve a golden crust.
  5. Serve: Allow to rest for 15 minutes before slicing.
