Indulge in the rich and savory flavors of Blackened Steak and Shrimp Alfredo, a delightful dish that combines tender steak and succulent shrimp, all enveloped in a creamy alfredo sauce over perfectly cooked penne pasta.


Ingredients

  • 8 ounces penne pasta
  • 1 pound large shrimp, raw, deveined
  • 1 pound top sirloin steak, cut into cubes
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter
  • 1 small yellow onion, diced
  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic
  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 2 cups freshly grated parmesan cheese
  • Blackened seasoning

Instructions

  1. Cook the penne pasta in boiling salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Toss shrimp with blackened seasoning. Sauté in vegetable oil over medium-high heat for 2-3 minutes per side until opaque. Remove from skillet.
  3. In the same skillet, sear seasoned steak cubes for about 3-4 minutes until browned but tender. Remove from skillet.
  4. For the alfredo sauce, melt butter in the skillet; add onions and garlic until soft. Gradually stir in heavy cream and let simmer before adding parmesan cheese until smooth.
  5. Combine cooked pasta with shrimp and steak in the sauce, tossing to coat evenly. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley.
