  • 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter

  • 1 ½ cups heavy whipping cream
  • 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 4 ounces cream cheese (cubed)
  • Kosher salt

  • chopped parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook rigatoni in salted boiling water until al dente; reserve some pasta water before draining.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet; season salmon with Cajun spice and sear until browned. Set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic. Add cream, parmesan, and cream cheese; stir until smooth.
  4. Combine salmon and rigatoni with the sauce; adjust consistency with reserved pasta water.
