Ingredients
- 150 ml Milk
- 4 Chai tea bags
- 135 g Butter (softened, unsalted)
- 135 g Light brown sugar
- 2 Eggs (large)
- 200 g Self-raising flour
- Spices: Cinnamon, Ginger, Cloves, Cardamom, Nutmeg

- Warm milk and steep chai tea bags for 10-15 minutes to create infused milk.
- Preheat oven to 160C Fan/180C/350F and line a cupcake tin with cases.
- Beat softened butter and light brown sugar together until smooth.
- Add eggs and vanilla extract; mix well.
- Gradually incorporate self-raising flour and spices until just combined.
- Stir in the chai-infused milk.
- Fill cupcake cases evenly and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden.
- Cool on a wire rack before frosting with spiced buttercream made from softened butter, icing sugar, chai-infused milk, and spices.
