Ingredients

- ¾ cup powdered sugar
- ½ cup granulated sugar

- ½ cup maraschino cherries, drained and chopped
- 1 cup pecans, finely ground
- 4½ cups all-purpose flour
- ¾ cup mini semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions

- Mix in the salt, almond extract, vanilla extract, and cherry extract.
- Fold in the chopped cherries and ground pecans until evenly distributed.
- Gradually add the flour until fully incorporated; adjust with more flour if necessary.
- Stir in the chocolate chips gently.
- Chill the dough for 30 minutes to 1 hour.
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll dough into balls (about 1½ tablespoons each) and place on the baking sheet an inch apart.
- Bake for about 15–17 minutes or until lightly golden.
- Cool slightly before transferring to a cooling rack; then roll in powdered sugar before serving.
