  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 1/2 lb chicken breast
  • 12 oz gluten-free farfalle pasta
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 3 cups heavy cream
  • 12 oz shredded Parmesan cheese
  • 1 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1 1/2 tsp oregano
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp thyme
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp dry shallots
  • 2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tbsp Gluten Free 1:1 Flour
  • 1/4 cup pasta water
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Cook the gluten-free farfalle pasta according to package instructions until al dente; drain and set aside.
  2. In a bowl, mix paprika, oregano, garlic powder, thyme, salt, and black pepper. Season both sides of the chicken breasts with the mixture.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Sear the chicken for about 5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  4. Cover and cook for an additional 10–12 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  5. In the same skillet, melt butter and stir in dry shallots and Italian seasoning. Add flour and cook for one minute.
  6. Gradually whisk in chicken broth and heavy cream until smooth; add shredded Parmesan until melted.
  7. Toss cooked pasta into the sauce; thin with reserved pasta water if needed.
  8. Slice chicken and mix it into the pasta before serving hot.
