- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 1/2 lb chicken breast
- 12 oz gluten-free farfalle pasta
- 4 tbsp butter
- 3 cups heavy cream
- 12 oz shredded Parmesan cheese
- 1 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1 1/2 tsp oregano
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp thyme
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 tsp dry shallots
- 2 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 2 tbsp Gluten Free 1:1 Flour
- 1/4 cup pasta water
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp garlic powder
Instructions
- Cook the gluten-free farfalle pasta according to package instructions until al dente; drain and set aside.
- In a bowl, mix paprika, oregano, garlic powder, thyme, salt, and black pepper. Season both sides of the chicken breasts with the mixture.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Sear the chicken for about 5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Cover and cook for an additional 10–12 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F. Remove from skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt butter and stir in dry shallots and Italian seasoning. Add flour and cook for one minute.
- Gradually whisk in chicken broth and heavy cream until smooth; add shredded Parmesan until melted.
- Toss cooked pasta into the sauce; thin with reserved pasta water if needed.
- Slice chicken and mix it into the pasta before serving hot.
