  • 10 Tbsp unsalted butter (room temperature)
  • 1 1/4 cups granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs (room temperature)
  • 1 cup apple cider
  • 3/4 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 2 tsp pure vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, ginger, cloves, and salt.
  3. In a mixing bowl, beat softened butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time.
  4. In another bowl, mix apple cider, applesauce, and vanilla extract.
  5. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients in three additions.
  6. Pour batter into a greased bundt pan and smooth the top.
  7. Bake for 45 to 50 minutes until golden brown; check doneness with a toothpick.
  8. Cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
  9. Brush warm cake with melted butter and sprinkle with cinnamon-sugar mixture.
