- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 green onion (chopped)
- ½ teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- ½ teaspoon soy sauce
- ½ teaspoon minced garlic
- ½ teaspoon granulated sugar
- ½ cup drained imitation crab meat or chicken
- 8 slices sourdough bread
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, shredded mozzarella, chopped green onions, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, minced garlic, granulated sugar, and imitation crab meat. Mix until well combined.
- Preheat a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat.
- Butter one side of each slice of sourdough bread generously.
- Place one slice of bread butter-side down in the skillet. Spread about ¼ cup of the filling evenly on top and cover with another slice of bread butter-side up.
- Reduce heat to medium-low and cook for 3-4 minutes until golden brown. Carefully flip the sandwich using a spatula and cook for another 3-4 minutes until crispy and golden.
- Remove from skillet and repeat with remaining sandwiches. Serve warm with sweet chili sauce or garlic chili oil for dipping.
