  • 1 pound elbow macaroni or cellentani pasta
  • 5 tablespoons butter (divided)
  • 16 oz cooked lobster meat
  • 1 teaspoon Old Bay Seasoning
  • 3 tablespoons flour
  • 23 cups milk
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded fontina cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded Parmigiano Reggiano

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.
  2. Cook the pasta in boiling salted water until al dente; drain and set aside.
  3. In a skillet, melt 1 tablespoon of butter over medium heat, add lobster meat and Old Bay seasoning, cooking until heated through.
  4. In another pot, melt the remaining butter, whisk in flour and gradually add milk while stirring until thickened. Add cream, onion powder, salt, pepper, and cheeses until smooth.
  5. Combine cooked pasta with cheese sauce and fold in the lobster.
  6. Transfer to a greased baking dish and bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden.
