  • 3 lb chuck roast
  • Salt and pepper
  • Garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic
  • 1 tbsp Ranch seasoning
  • 1 tbsp Montreal Steak seasoning
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • Arby’s sauce
  • Onion buns
  • Cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Season the chuck roast generously with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Sear in olive oil over medium-high heat until browned.
  2. Place the seared roast in a crockpot. Add beef broth, minced garlic, Ranch seasoning, Montreal Steak seasoning, and sliced onions. Pour enough Arby’s sauce to cover the roast.
  3. Cook on low for 8 hours or until tender. Shred the meat using two forks and mix in additional Arby’s sauce.
  4. Assemble sandwiches by placing shredded beef on onion buns topped with onions from the crockpot and cheddar cheese.
  5. Broil until cheese melts and buns are toasted (2-3 minutes). Serve hot.
