Ingredients
8 cups popped popcorn (about ½ cup unpopped kernels)
1 cup red candies (M&Ms or chocolate candies)
1 cup blue candies
½ cup white chocolate chips
1 tsp coconut oil (or vegetable oil)
Sea salt, to taste
Optional Add-Ins:
½ cup mini marshmallows
½ cup chopped nuts
¼ cup patriotic sprinkles
¼ cup colored sugar
Instructions
Step 1: Pop the Corn
Pop your popcorn using your preferred method and transfer to a large bowl. Remove any unpopped kernels.
Step 2: Add Candies & Mix-Ins
Add red and blue candies, and any optional mix-ins like marshmallows or nuts. Toss gently.
Step 3: Melt the Chocolate
In a small bowl, combine white chocolate chips and coconut oil. Microwave in 20–30 second intervals, stirring between, until smooth.
Step 4: Drizzle & Sprinkle
Drizzle the melted chocolate over the popcorn mixture. Sprinkle with sea salt and add sprinkles or colored sugar if desired.
Step 5: Let It Set
Spread mixture on parchment paper and allow chocolate to set at room temperature for 10–15 minutes or refrigerate briefly.
Step 6: Serve & Enjoy
