  • ¼ cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon nutmeg
  • ⅓ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons butter (melted)
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350ºF and spray a donut pan with non-stick cooking spray.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together pumpkin puree, brown sugar, vegetable oil, and milk until smooth.
  3. In another bowl, mix all-purpose flour, baking powder, pumpkin pie spice, cinnamon, salt, and nutmeg.
  4. Gradually combine dry ingredients with wet ingredients using a spatula until just combined.
  5. Transfer batter into a piping bag or ziplock bag and fill each donut cavity evenly.
  6. Bake for 15–16 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Allow donuts to cool for about 10 minutes before transferring them to a rack.
  8. Brush cooled donuts with melted butter and coat in cinnamon sugar mixture.
