- 1 pound ground beef
- 3 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 jar (24 ounces) marinara sauce
- 1 package (22 ounces) frozen cheese tortellini
- 8 ounces mozzarella cheese (grated)
- 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
- garlic powder
- dried basil
- dried parsley
- dried oregano
- dried thyme
- red pepper flakes
- salt
- pepper
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 3-quart baking dish.
- In a large pot over medium heat, cook ground beef and minced garlic until browned; drain excess fat.
- Season meat with garlic powder, basil, parsley, oregano, thyme, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Stir in marinara sauce and slightly thawed tortellini until well combined.
- Remove from heat; mix in half of the mozzarella cheese. Transfer to the prepared baking dish and top with remaining mozzarella and Parmesan.
- Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes; remove foil and bake an additional 15–20 minutes until hot and bubbly.
