  • 2 1/4 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • 1/2 cup salted butter, melted
  • 24 ounces cream cheese
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup sour cream
  • 3 large eggs
  • 2 large apples
  • 1/4 cup light brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and cinnamon. Stir in melted butter until mixed well. Press into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
  3. Beat cream cheese until smooth; add sugar, flour, sour cream, vanilla extract, and cinnamon. Mix well and incorporate eggs one at a time.
  4. Toss chopped apples with brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and lemon juice.
  5. Pour half of the cheesecake filling over the crust; layer with half of the apple mixture followed by remaining filling and top with leftover apples.
  6. Bake for about 50 minutes until set around edges but slightly jiggly in center.
  7. Allow to cool at room temperature before chilling in the refrigerator for at least four hours or overnight.
