Ingredients

Scale
  • 5 Italian Bread Boules
  • 4 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 pound spaghetti noodles
  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • ½ yellow onion (diced)
  • 24 oz pasta sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a skillet over medium-high heat, heat olive oil and sauté diced onions for about 3-4 minutes until softened. Add ground beef and cook until browned. Stir in minced garlic and cook for another 30-45 seconds before draining excess grease.
  3. Season the meat with Italian seasoning, paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Pour in the pasta sauce and mix well. Toss in the cooked spaghetti until evenly combined.
  4. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Hollow out each bread boule by cutting off the top and removing some bread from inside.
  5. Mix melted butter with garlic powder and parsley; baste each bread bowl generously with this mixture. Fill each bowl with the spaghetti mixture and top with shredded mozzarella.
  6. Place filled bowls on a baking sheet and bake for 5-10 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
