  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small yellow onion (diced)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 2 green bell peppers (diced)
  • 1 can diced tomatoes (14 oz)
  • 1 can tomato sauce (15 oz)
  • 2/3 cup beef broth
  • 2/3 cup jasmine rice
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 2 cups shredded Cheddar-Jack cheese

Instructions

  1. Select 'browning/saute' on your Instant Pot and brown the ground beef with diced onions for about 5 minutes. Drain excess fat.
  2. Stir in minced garlic and diced bell peppers; sauté for an additional minute.
  3. Add diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, beef broth, jasmine rice, Worcestershire sauce, kosher salt, and black pepper. Lock the lid and cook on 'High Pressure' for 5 minutes.
  4. Allow natural release for 10 minutes before quick releasing any remaining pressure. Sprinkle cheese on top and cover briefly to melt.
  5. Serve hot, garnished with fresh herbs or alongside your favorite sides.
