Ingredients
- 8 ounces linguine pasta
- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 3 teaspoons garlic, minced
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup parmesan cheese, grated
- 1 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
- ⅓ cup fresh basil, chopped
- Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook the linguine in a large pot of salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and sauté the shrimp seasoned with Italian seasoning until pink and opaque. Remove from the skillet.
- In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté minced garlic until fragrant. Stir in flour for one minute before gradually whisking in chicken broth followed by heavy cream until smooth.
