Description

One Pan American Goulash is the ultimate comfort food, combining the heartiness of ground beef, pasta, and a medley of savory spices into one delicious dish that’s perfect for busy weeknights or family gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 diced onion
  • 2 cans (8 oz each) tomato sauce
  • 1 can (15 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 1 ½ cups beef broth
  • 2 cups elbow macaroni
  • Shredded cheddar cheese
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Onion powder
  • Paprika
  • Italian seasoning
  • Minced garlic

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef with the diced onion. Season with salt, pepper, onion powder, Italian seasoning, and paprika.
  2. Drain excess grease and stir in minced garlic and Worcestershire sauce.
  3. Add tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, beef broth, and elbow macaroni. Mix well.
  4. Place bay leaves on top and allow to bubble before reducing heat to medium-low. Cover and simmer for 12-15 minutes until pasta is cooked through.
  5. Remove bay leaves before serving. Top with shredded cheddar cheese and enjoy hot.
