- 600ml beef stock
- 500g tomato passata
- 180ml heavy cream
- 300g uncooked conchiglie pasta
- Assorted seasonings (salt, paprika, oregano, pepper, chili flakes, thyme)
Instructions
- In a large pot over medium heat, drizzle oil and sauté the finely diced onion until soft and golden. Add minced garlic and cook for another minute.
- Incorporate the ground beef, breaking it up with a wooden spoon until browned.
- Mix in the seasoning blend along with tomato puree and fry for an additional minute.
- Add warm beef stock, tomato passata (rinse out the jar with a splash of water), heavy cream, and uncooked conchiglie pasta; stir well.
- Bring to a boil and cook while stirring frequently until the sauce thickens and pasta is al dente. Adjust consistency with hot water if necessary.
