  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic
  • American cheese
  • Shredded cheddar cheese
  • Frozen onion rings
  • 1/2 cup mayo
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1/8 cup mustard
  • 1 tbsp sweet relish
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • Sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Cook frozen onion rings according to package instructions until golden brown.
  2. In a skillet over medium-high heat, cook ground beef with chopped onion. Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika until browned. Add minced garlic and sauté for one minute.
  3. Slice rolls horizontally and place bottom halves in a greased baking dish. Layer with American cheese followed by the beef mixture.
  4. Spread homemade burger sauce on top of the beef and sprinkle with shredded cheddar and crispy onion rings.
  5. Place top halves back on rolls, brush with melted butter, sprinkle sesame seeds, and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 10-15 minutes until heated through.
