  • 4 strips turkey turkey bacon
  • 12 oz frozen mixed vegetables
  • 4 eggs
  • Low sodium soy sauce
  • Orange sauce (store-bought)
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup cornstarch
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Garlic powder
  • Paprika
  • Chili powder
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • Sesame oil (or any oil)

Instructions

  1. Cook the rice according to package directions; let cool.
  2. Cut chicken into small cubes and season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  3. In a bowl, mix flour, cornstarch, and seasonings. Coat chicken pieces in the mixture.
  4. Heat sesame oil and butter in a skillet over medium-high heat; cook chicken until golden brown.
  5. Add chopped turkey turkey bacon and cook until crispy.
  6. Stir in pre-cooked rice and vegetables; drizzle with oil if needed.
  7. Season with soy sauce; create a well in the center of rice mixture for eggs.
  8. Crack in whisked eggs; stir until cooked through.
  9. Toss cooked chicken with orange sauce before adding it to the skillet; mix well.
  10. Serve hot, garnished with chopped green onions.
