For the Cream Cheese Layer:

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened

  • ½ cup powdered sugar

  • 1 ½ cups whipped topping (like Cool Whip)

For the Pecan Pie Layer:

  • 1 cup brown sugar (light or dark)

  • ¼ cup unsalted butter

  • ½ cup heavy cream

  • 1 tbsp cornstarch mixed with 1 tbsp water

  • 1 ½ cups chopped pecans

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • ¼ tsp salt

For the Whipped Topping Layer:

  • 2 cups whipped topping

  • ¼ cup chopped pecans (for garnish)

  • Caramel sauce (optional, for drizzling)


Instructions

Step 1: Make the Graham Cracker Crust

  1. In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs, brown sugar, and melted butter until evenly combined.

  2. Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish to form an even crust.

  3. Place in the fridge to chill while you make the other layers.

Step 2: Prepare the Cream Cheese Layer

  1. In a medium bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with powdered sugar and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.

  2. Fold in the whipped topping gently until fully combined.

  3. Spread evenly over the chilled crust and return to the fridge.

Step 3: Make the Pecan Pie Layer

  1. In a saucepan over medium heat, combine brown sugar, butter, and heavy cream. Stir until melted and smooth.

  2. Mix cornstarch and water in a small bowl, then stir it into the saucepan to help thicken the mixture.

  3. Bring to a simmer and cook for 3–5 minutes until slightly thickened.

  4. Remove from heat and stir in chopped pecans, vanilla extract, and salt.

  5. Let the pecan mixture cool for 10–15 minutes, then carefully spread it over the cream cheese layer.

Step 4: Add the Whipped Topping Layer

  1. Once the pecan pie layer has cooled completely, spread the remaining whipped topping evenly over the top.

  2. Sprinkle with chopped pecans and drizzle with caramel sauce if desired.

Step 5: Chill & Serve

  1. Cover and refrigerate the dessert for at least 4 hours, or overnight for best results.

  2. Slice into squares and serve chilled.
