Ingredients

Scale

For the Pineapple Layer:

  • 2 cups frozen pineapple chunks

  • ½ cup pineapple juice or coconut water

  • 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup (optional)

For the Strawberry Layer:

  • 2 cups frozen strawberries

  • ½ cup apple juice or water

  • 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup (optional)

Optional Add-Ins:

  • A squeeze of fresh lime juice for brightness

  • Mint leaves for garnish

  • Coconut milk for a creamier version

Instructions

Step 1: Blend the Pineapple Layer
Add frozen pineapple, pineapple juice (or coconut water), and sweetener to a blender.
Blend until smooth and slushy.
Pour into a bowl or cup and place in the freezer while you make the strawberry layer.

Step 2: Blend the Strawberry Layer
Rinse out the blender and add frozen strawberries, apple juice (or water), and sweetener.
Blend until smooth and slushy.

Step 3: Layer and Swirl
Spoon alternating layers of pineapple and strawberry slush into clear glasses or jars.
Use a spoon or straw to gently swirl the layers together without fully mixing them.
Top with a sprig of mint or a slice of fresh fruit if desired.

Step 4: Serve Immediately
Serve with a straw and spoon. These slushies are best enjoyed right away while they’re icy and vibrant.

Notes

Use Frozen Fruit – It gives the perfect slush texture without needing ice.
Sweeten to Taste – Adjust sweetness depending on the ripeness of your fruit.
Don’t Overblend – You want a thick slush texture, not a smoothie.
Serve in Clear Cups – The swirl effect is more fun when it’s visible!
Make It Creamy – Add a splash of coconut milk to either layer for a tropical twist.
