  • 23 lbs. cubed beef (stew meat)
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 8 minced garlic cloves
  • 3 medium diced carrots
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup beef broth

Instructions

  1. In a gallon-sized freezer bag, combine cubed beef with cornstarch and shake until coated.
  2. Transfer the coated beef to the slow cooker and add teriyaki sauce, sesame oil, brown sugar, garlic, carrots, soy sauce, and beef broth. Stir to combine.
  3. Cover and cook on HIGH for 4 hours or LOW for 8 hours.
  4. If the sauce is too thin, mix 1/4 cup beef broth with 1 tablespoon cornstarch, stir into the slow cooker, and cook on LOW for an additional 20 minutes.
  5. Serve over rice or noodles and garnish with sesame seeds and green onions.
