Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 large eggs: The base of the omelette, rich in protein.
  • ¼ cup fresh spinach, chopped: Adds a fresh, slightly earthy taste.
  • ¼ cup shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or feta): Melts beautifully for a creamy texture.
  • 1 tablespoon milk: Helps make the omelette light and fluffy.
  • 1 teaspoon butter or olive oil: For cooking.
  • Salt and pepper, to taste: Enhances the flavors.
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder (optional): Adds extra flavor.

Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Egg Mixture

  1. In a bowl, whisk the eggs with milk, salt, pepper, and garlic powder (if using).
  2. Stir in the chopped spinach.

Step 2: Cook the Omelette

  1. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add butter or olive oil.
  2. Pour the egg mixture into the skillet, tilting it slightly to spread evenly.
  3. Cook for 2-3 minutes, until the edges start to set.

Step 3: Add Cheese & Fold

  1. Sprinkle the shredded cheese over one half of the omelette.
  2. Once the eggs are fully set, use a spatula to carefully fold the omelette in half.

Step 4: Serve & Enjoy

  1. Slide the omelette onto a plate and serve warm.

Notes

✔ Use Fresh Spinach – It wilts nicely without making the omelette watery.
✔ Low & Slow Cooking – Helps prevent overcooking and keeps the omelette soft.
✔ Don’t Overfill – Too many ingredients can make flipping difficult.
