  • 1 White sheet cake (baked in 9x13 dish)
  • 14 oz. can sweetened condensed milk
  • 12 oz. can evaporated milk
  • ½ cup whole milk
  • 3 oz. package strawberry gelatin, divided
  • 8 oz. container Cool Whip (thawed)
  • 25 Golden Oreos (about 1 package)
  • ¼ cup salted butter (melted)
  • Fresh strawberries for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F.
  2. Bake the white sheet cake according to package instructions in a 9×13 glass baking dish and let cool completely.
  3. Heat the evaporated milk in a small saucepan over medium heat until warm; whisk in half of the strawberry gelatin until dissolved, then remove from heat and cool.
  4. Once cooled, mix in sweetened condensed milk and whole milk until well combined.
  5. Poke holes all over the cooled cake with a bamboo skewer.
  6. Pour the strawberry milk mixture evenly over the cake; cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least one hour to soak.
  7. After soaking, spread Cool Whip evenly over the top of the cake.
  8. Crush Golden Oreos in a plastic bag using a rolling pin; mix crumbs with melted butter and remaining gelatin powder.
  9. Sprinkle cookie mixture over the Cool Whip layer gently pressing down to form an even surface.
  10. Serve slices with additional Cool Whip and fresh strawberries if desired.
