  • 1 large crusty bread bowl (sourdough or artisan round)
  • 1/2 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/2 cup crab meat
  • 1/2 cup scallops
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 shallot, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 2 ounces cream cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cut the top off the bread bowl and hollow out the center.
  3. Place the hollowed bread on a baking sheet and toast for 8–10 minutes until golden.
  4. In a skillet over medium heat, melt butter. Sauté garlic and shallots until fragrant.
  5. Add shrimp and scallops; cook until opaque, then stir in crab meat until heated.
  6. Lower heat and pour in heavy cream, adding cream cheese, lemon juice, salt, and pepper; stir until smooth.
  7. Mix half of the Parmesan and mozzarella cheeses into the seafood mixture.
  8. Fill the toasted bread bowl with the creamy seafood mixture; top with remaining cheeses.
  9. Bake for 12–15 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
  10. Garnish with parsley before serving hot.
