  • 80 grams Red chilli pepper
  • 120 ml Distilled white vinegar
  • 100 grams Sugar
  • 120 ml Water
  • 2 tbsp Garlic (Minced)
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tbsp Cornstarch (Mix it with 2 tbsp water)

Instructions

  2. In a saucepan, combine minced red chillies (or crushed flakes), vinegar, sugar, water, minced garlic, and salt.
  3. Heat over medium until boiling; stir occasionally until sugar dissolves.
  4. Lower heat and mix cornstarch with water until smooth; add to the saucepan while stirring continuously.
  5. Cook for another minute until slightly thickened; then remove from heat and cool before storing.
