Instructions
Step 1: Make the Biscuits
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
Cut in the cold butter with a pastry cutter or fork until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
Gradually stir in the buttermilk until a dough forms.
Turn the dough onto a floured surface and gently knead 3–4 times.
Pat into a ¾-inch thick rectangle and cut into rounds or squares.
Place on a baking sheet and bake for 12–14 minutes, or until golden brown.
Step 2: Make the Turkey Gravy
In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
Whisk in the flour and cook for 1–2 minutes until golden and bubbling.
Slowly whisk in the turkey broth, stirring constantly to avoid lumps.
Bring to a simmer and cook until thickened, about 5 minutes.
Stir in the cooked turkey, heavy cream, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
Simmer for another 2–3 minutes until the turkey is warmed through.
Step 3: Assemble and Serve
Split the warm biscuits in half.
Spoon the turkey gravy generously over the biscuits.
Garnish with chopped fresh parsley if desired.
