  • 1 cup finely chopped yellow onion
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 large egg
  • 3 tablespoons ketchup
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce

  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ cup Italian seasoned breadcrumbs
  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • ¼ cup ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and grease it.
  2. Sauté chopped onion in olive oil for 3–4 minutes; add minced garlic and cook for another 30 seconds.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine egg, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Add sautéed onion and garlic to wet ingredients; mix well.
  5. Stir in breadcrumbs and ground turkey until just combined.
  6. Shape mixture into a loaf on the prepared baking sheet.
  7. Whisk together glaze ingredients (ketchup, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar) and brush over the meatloaf.
  8. Bake for 45–60 minutes until it reaches an internal temperature of 165°F. Let rest before slicing.
