  • 810 slices mixed cheeses (havarti, gruyere, sharp cheddar, or mozzarella)
  • 5 tablespoons butter
  • 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon red grape juice vinegar
  • 1/4 cup parmesan cheese (freshly grated)
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 3/4 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp freshly cracked pepper
  • 1/2 head iceberg lettuce (finely shredded)
  • 1/4 red onion (thinly sliced)
  • 1/3 cup banana peppers (chopped)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the butter mixture by combining softened butter with parmesan and garlic powder. Spread on bread slices.
  2. Assemble the sandwich with layers of cheese, turkey, and turkey salami between two slices of buttered bread.
  3. Toast in a nonstick skillet over low heat for about 10 minutes, flipping once until golden brown and cheese melts.
