Ingredients

  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 16 oz elbow macaroni (uncooked)
  • 10.5 oz can of cheddar cheese soup
  • 3 cups chicken or vegetable broth
  • 3 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)

Instructions

  1. If using frozen ground beef, add 1 cup water to the Instant Pot, seal the lid, and cook on high for 25 minutes. Drain any excess fat after cooking.
  2. For thawed beef, sauté the ground beef with garlic powder and onion powder until fully cooked.
  3. Add broth, elbow macaroni, cheddar cheese soup, salt, and pepper to the pot; stir well to combine.
  4. Seal the lid and cook on high for 4 minutes. Perform a quick release of pressure afterward.
  5. Stir in 2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese until melted, then serve warm.
