  • 6 ounces ramen noodles
  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1 teaspoon fresh grated ginger
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1/3 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1/3 cup light brown sugar (packed)
  • 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 green onions (thinly sliced)

Instructions

  2. Add ramen noodles to boiling water and cook for 3 minutes, stirring occasionally. Drain and rinse with cold water to stop cooking.
  3. In a large skillet, cook crumbled ground beef over medium heat until no pink remains (8-10 minutes). Drain excess grease.
  4. Stir in grated ginger and minced garlic; cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
  5. Add soy sauce, brown sugar, salt, and pepper; stir and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
  6. Toss in the drained ramen noodles until evenly coated in sauce; cook for another 2 minutes while stirring.
