  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • ½ medium onion (finely diced)
  • 1 large egg
  • ½ cup milk
  • Fresh herbs (parsley and thyme)
  • Spices (smoked paprika, granulated garlic, sugar)
  • Minced hot pepper or hot sauce

Instructions

  1. Soak the fish in water overnight to remove excess salt. Drain and shred.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, smoked paprika, granulated garlic, and sugar.
  3. Add the shredded fish, diced onion, minced herbs, and egg to the dry mixture; whisk until combined.
  4. Gradually add milk until the batter reaches desired thickness.
