  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 3 diced bell peppers
  • ½ diced yellow onion
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 24 ounces pasta sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 4 cups bowtie pasta
  • 10 ounces diced tomatoes with green chilies

Instructions

  1. Cook the bowtie pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add olive oil along with diced bell peppers and onions. Sauté until softened.
  3. Add ground beef to the skillet; cook until browned. Drain excess grease.
  4. Stir in minced garlic, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix in pasta sauce and let simmer on low heat.
  5. Fold in cooked bowtie pasta until well combined.
  6. Serve hot in bowls.
